Describing Mr. Puran L. Jeswani Ji is not a task that can be completed in two lines. It would easily demand pages. Yet, I shall try to capture his essence in a few hundred words.

Our first meeting was at an Indian consulate business seminar in China. That chance encounter led to a connection that has no business ties whatsoever, yet he remains my biggest well-wisher to this day. Over more than a decade, he has guided me through emotional struggles, life decisions, and family matters. During the COVID-19 crisis, when China imposed strict entry restrictions, he became a godsend messenger, helping me return from India against all odds.

What truly sets him apart is his socio-cultural contribution. He is not merely a successful businessman and entrepreneur; he is a man born with a gentle heart. He promotes Indian culture in China with quiet dedication—sponsoring yoga sessions, cricket matches, and other cultural and sporting events to build bridges between nations. He serves the Indian community in distress, often going unnoticed. His philanthropy is modest but deeply touching: providing hearing aids to senior citizens and regularly visiting old-age homes.

Many of his acts are purely selfless, driven by no personal gain. He gives 100% dedication when helping distressed communities in China, often at great personal effort.

For me, it has been a privilege to share a soulful, values-driven association with him for over a decade. I try to learn from him every day. I sincerely wish we had more members of the Indian diaspora in China like him—people who can genuinely bridge friendship and nurture bilateral relationships.
